June 4–7, 2026: Harvest of Membership, Exemplification and Thanksgiving
In furtherance of one of our cardinal agendas of Membership Development, the Abuja Grand Commandery of the Knights of St. John International recorded a remarkable milestone between June 4 and 7, 2026.
During this period, we successfully admitted 56 quality new members into our noble Order. These candidates underwent a series of rigorous formation and orientation exercises designed to deepen their understanding of the values, obligations, and responsibilities of membership in the Knights of St. John International.
Of particular significance is the admission of four Reverend Fathers among the new members. In recent years, an increasing number of Catholic priests have embraced our Order, further strengthening our spiritual foundation and expanding our evangelization efforts in service to the Church and humanity.
In addition, we conducted the Exemplification Ceremony for 68 members, who were advanced into the Second and Third Degrees after demonstrating commitment and dedication during approximately twelve months of active membership in the Order.
The activities culminated in a joyous Thanksgiving Celebration held at St. Matthew Pastoral Centre, 1000 Million Estate, Kuje. As part of our commitment to supporting the mission of the Church, the Abuja Grand Commandery also made a meaningful contribution towards the ongoing development of the Pastoral Centre.
These achievements reflect our unwavering commitment to growth, spiritual formation, evangelization, and service to God and humanity.
We are the Knights of St. John International. We bear the Cross of Jesus Christ with faith, courage, and dedication.

Francis Njoku, Grand President, Abuja Grand Commandery
