HAPPY FEAST DAY
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Today, 29 August, the Universal Church commemorates the Beheading of St. John the Baptist, a powerful testimony of faith, courage, fidelity and integrity.
St. John the Baptist stood firmly for truth and righteousness, even at the cost of his life. As Christians and Knights, we too are called to be courageous voices against injustice, oppression and the moral ills confronting our society.
In keeping with the directive of our Supreme Subordinate President, Maj Gen. Joachim Chuks Amamgbo, this year’s celebration should be marked by sober reflection and prayer, mindful of the difficult circumstances facing our nation. Let us pray earnestly for God’s intervention against violence, corruption, crime, kidnapping, killings, hardship and attacks on the Church and innocent citizens.
Like St. John the Baptist, may we remain faithful to Christ, courageous in truth and steadfast in service.
On behalf of the Grand Board, I wish all our Brothers, Sisters, Cadets and Juniors a blessed and reflective Feast Day.
St. John the Baptist, pray for us!
Fraternally yours,
Brig. Gen. Francis Njoku
Grand President
